JB Legal is now Berger & Christensen

We are so excited to announce that Taylor Christensen and John Berger have joined forces to create Berger & Christensen. Our team is excited to work for you.

Why should you trust our little firm, Berger & Christensen, to help litigate cases, or to help your patients who need a lawyer, or to help your friends or family with their personal injury claims?

The truth is, there are a lot of phenomenal attorneys in Utah. There are a lot of great firms who do great work. So why us?

1 - We emphasize clear communication directly between the attorney and the client. Paralegals are a valuable part of a personal injury practice, but the attorneys at our firm focus on talking to our clients when they need us. We share our direct phone numbers and email addresses. Maybe you are working with a big firm with a great staff, but can you get a hold of your attorney when you have questions?

2 - My partner Taylor Christensen and I have substantial experience working on accident cases in Utah. In the past 5 years, Taylor has probably overseen and resolved as many personal injury cases as anyone in the state of Utah. In the past 5 years, I've probably litigated as many injury cases as anyone in Utah. Both of us have worked with and against great lawyers. And now we are applying that experience with high volume to a smaller boutique firm that is dedicated to giving clients the best legal advice possible and getting them the best results we can. We have a huge network of connections with people involved in helping patients get the care they need. We've seen clients go down almost every path possible.

3 - We will be completely honest about the challenges in any case and provide transparency and clarity, but we don't shy away from difficult claims and litigation cases. People with pre-existing conditions can get hurt in an accident. People can get seriously hurt in minor collisions. Everyone talks about wanting to take a great case to trial. We want to as well. But even on a tough case, if we have a path to add value and get a client the compensation they deserve, we won't bail just because a quick settlement isn't possible.

4 - We are happy to give a second opinion and we are happy with our clients getting a second opinion. If you have the experience and the skill, you aren't afraid if your clients check on other options.

5 - The client always makes the settlement decisions. We will advise the client of the risks and benefits of settlement vs trial. We will encourage the client to understand the options so they can make the decision with their eyes open. We aren't afraid to settle a case when that is what the client wants, and we don't shy away from a fight if that is what needs to happen.
